    Hi,

I have a site that was doing very well with Google. Now it's been showing PR0 for about two week and 0 backlinks. I can't get rid of the feeling that there's something wrong.

Search wise the site still ranks in the top 3 results for a lot of keywords.

In Yahoo the site has 10,000+ backlinks.

What I HAVE done about two months ago is move another site onto the same server and set it up as a subdomain (where said site's domain is now pointing to as a 301). I hope that didn't cause all this.

Am I just being paranoid or is there really cause for concern?

    Thanks a lot guys :)

    Cheers

I don't see how another site on a sub-domain can hurt your rankings... Did you check your rankings across all Google servers??

Maybe the site you got all your backlinks from was banned from google?

You can't be a pr5 just by getting backlinks from 1 site. You need many thousands.

Nah, just need a solid PR7 link to get an easy PR5-PR6 rank.

Are you still getting traffic from Google?

If all your links were coming from the site you moved to subdomain then it would easily affect your page rank.

Well I have a link with Aviva Directory. Guess that would explain it given that they've been banned?
