Pagerank Drop affects STANFORD too!

It seems like it's not just commercial webmasters that got affected by the recent Pagerank updates. Even the STANFORD DAILY dropped drastically from PR9 to PR7!

Both Harvard and Stanford use or used TLA. Google seems to be penalizing sites using TLA or other known paid-advertising-via-text links-w/o-nofollow types-of-sites.

 

well, at least it shows that they are fair in their treatment of all websites and not just the small players.....

 

Did Stanford really earn that PR9, or was it a gift from Google's upper echelon, many of whom are Stanford alumni?

Yeah they seems to be fair with the drops anyhow hope it will not affect my sites.
