When checking the page rank of your site, what is all those dataservers that the data is retrieved from? For example: with the page rank checker from here: http://www.iwebtool.com/pagerank_checker
They are just that, data centers. Google uses more than one "data center" to provide relevant search results and data to searchers. By placing data centers in different regions and geographical locations they can improve speed to search results as well.
3 of those data centers are showing i have a pr 7 when it shows a pr 4 not that I actually even care for pr
http://www.digpagerank.com/ is the best site for pr checking. it's also showing pr dc. it help help you
Hi ... yes, data centres messed up. On Dig Page Rank, all showed either OFF or PR N/A for my main site, which is a PR4. Hope the process finalizes and settles, asap.
same things been happening to me. ive seen some say, pr3s that show up as 3s, 4s and an occasional 7 in the PR checker. I think the pr toolbar just averages these or takes the lowest one....
This has been happening to our client sites also, It was PR6 and now since few days it has been came to PR5, Also the pagerank checker shows different PR at different data center and same are showing noimages or not server down. I think this is only due to google algorithm, google is the ruler so google is doing all these and we are dependent so we are suffering.
