Not to beat a dead horse, cause I'm sure that there were a 1000 posts about it, but just noticed my wee little real estate site (linked in my signature) is now a pr of 3... (up from a 2). When was the last pr update? Also noticed that now my index page is the highest ranking page... thank goodness...
According with this site: http://www.seocompany.ca/pagerank/page-rank-update-list.html last PR update was on January/25, and next is predicted for April/15 .
The update is propagating across several data centers since the last update. Therefore, the update you see is the result from the most recent one. The next update should be in Apr
I see today the data centers are mad: http://livepr.raketforskning.com Strange things I saw today: - One PR5 site got down to PR3 some weeks ago in the last update, and now some datacenters are showing PR5 again - One domain I know was PR6 until yesterday and today some datacenters are shoing PR5. - And others are showing PR0 It's like some of them are showing the PR before the update again. Are you seeing some strange things today?
Used to check PR DCs so many times everyday day and really took time. I found a small tool http://livepr.ezer.com The tool does remember my pagerank records and help me understand if PR updated or not I like the tool and my websites have no PR update today.
as i know google page rank is usually updated 4 times in a year . but pls take attetion , i have used usually in my sentence . nobody can say exact pr update times or counts . only google can say this .
Thanks Riks & 1why for the PR update tool... I had stopped checking pr regularly, simply because it was not regularly updated... also figured, with the amount of time that goes into regurlar checking, that I could spend that extra hour or so a month doing some extra seo/linking that would help rankings in the end. Though, have to admit, I do check still because it's a good sign that you are doing things right... Thanks everyone for keeping me up on things... Starke
My site's PR 6. But honestly, I don't thik PR matters at all nowadays. My pages that have zero PR still get lots of search traffic.
