PageRank/Back Link Update (2/18/2006)

Hell if I know. Did the PR update end yet????

 

LOL! Nope. Still going by my observations. I gather Matt Cutts may inform us all when it will end. It looks like it will end as a result of the BD update. Who knows? Maybe this is the end of the internet?? NNNNNOOOOOOOO!!!!!!

 

I want to say it has but I'm afraid of jinxing something. The onyl thing I have to go by is that all of Google's DCs match on my website for the first time in over a month.

 

All my sites toolbar PR has been updated for the last couple hours.

 

What PR update are you talking about exactly?

There was a PR export directly before BD started rolling out in force, which skewed many of the previous PR exports results. Matt has stated there will be a new PR export probably right after BD is finished rolling out in the next week or so.

 

Something is happening with Big Daddy which is positive, The Servers which are running the new code seem to pull good site information instead of spam for listings.

 

yea - things are definitely screwly - It's not finding my site at all when I do a query for it. Hopefully they'll be back to 'normal' soon...

 

Are you doing a search for your URL? What is the message you get when you search for the URL?

 

I try both just putting in www.funnyandfun.com and site:www.funnyandfun.com. They were both working fine not too long ago. I just resubmitted my sitemap to hopefully give things a little kick start. Come on Google, let's finish this update and get things a workin' again .

 

Looks like it just isn't indexed yet. How old is the site?

 

Any idee when the next PR update will be?

Crap, I just sold one of my sites! I wish I had waited a bit lobger, I was hoping to go to a pr6, that would have certainly brought some extra cash =[
Oh well.

 

It was indexed - it's been around for months. Just within the past week it 'fell out' at some point. Other people in other forums seem to have issues with PR reverting back and such, so it appears to be issues with the update being in progress - or so I hope . The odd thing is that Google even has a cache of my site...

 

I hate to tell you this, but it looks like a duplicate content penalty due to proxy trash...

That's good news. It means I have more to look forward to. Weird things have been happening to all my sites' PRs. I hope the final PRs have something nice in store.

 

I am currently seeing pre-jagger pr on my toolbar.
http://livepr.raketforskning.com/ has 216.239.51.99 and 64.233.171.99, among other datacenters, showing me as PR3.
BTW, that tool no longer goes by the RK value. It is showing toolbar PR.
McDar's quick check tool seems to be bugged out at the moment.

 

Thanks for checking that out...If that is the case - what can I do about it ?

woo hoo... the first positive thing since this update started just happened... my new site is showing on dp pagerank check as a PR6!!! (also on seochat tool) happy dancing while knocking on wood, throwing salt over my shoulder and crossing fingers and toes that it stays that way!! lol (it's tough, you gotta try it some time)


site has been ranking #2 on google since it was indexed for "intense child" also a 'woo hoo'
