Nope, I'll just start a foundation lobbying for the fair treatment and accessibility of those inflicted with long domain names. As more and more domains are taken this infliction will continue to spread till it reached epidemic proportions and we need to be prepared

FINALLY, i am seeing PR update on my toolbar here in India. Its been a long wait. But i really hope that the stays at what it is showing right now.

Waiting - Waiting and Waiting

 

i have been actively obtaining links for one of my websites - from .gov and .ac.uk sites aswell as the normal directories and article techniques. my page rank has gone down from 4 to 3!! I was expecting to jump to 5 definately but alaas no - damn google!

i have still maintained my 1st and 2nd postion in serps for my keywords which is good but i was wondering how could this happen??!

I've 138 google backlinks in December 2005, these 2 monthes I've worked hard and added some more links with good PRs and checked the quality of old links. But now I have 103 backlinks, and my PR increased from 2 to 3 I cann't believe it. I've worked for 4 monthes to get PR3 which I usually become with any other site with one week of working...
I don't believe it's true!!!!

 

My sites have all stayed the same or went down. I expected them to go up in pagerank. Does anyone else have the same problem in the uk with sites going down in pr. most of my links are from directorys is this why.

 

Might be a good idea to wait until all the dust settles.

 

I guess I have the same problem. Two of my sites are not so good linkalized, they have about 20 google backlinks, they have PR3 now. The third site is very good linkalized (about 4000 MSN links, 3000 Yahoo links and so on), it had 138 backlinks by the last backlinks update in December. Now it has only 103 backlinks! It cann't be true!
By the way I have some good links with PR5 and PR4. And PR3 for such a site is just nothing

 

PageRank is updating for me now. I have sites with PR now that were 0 before. However I am getting datacenter inconsistency with the actual G Toolbar.

 

I fixed that roman, your long long long domain name should be accepted now.

Is the update finished yet? It seems most people I talk to have got page rank but none of my sites have gone up. Not a single one. Despite all the high links I've got in the past three months..............

 

Uggg!! No, it's not finished!! I got PR 0 right now on a site that's going to PR 5!!!!

Still waitin'. Have no idea what the end results will be. I have so many sites awaiting PR changes. May as well go have a beer or two until it is all over!!!
