PageRank/Back Link Update (2/18/2006)

it seems like...google retracted the update? Was this just a joke or something? lol -- my sites from went being updated back down to PR0s......this is weird...

 

I think you should wait for a while, even I notice my sites have different PR at different times when I visit,..

Probably google is reverting the update,.. I guess,.. Lets wait and watch..

 

I would say, it is still long for the PR to settle down. It would take probably a week or so IMHO before we can see the actual real PR of all the sites across all datacenters.

I am observing fluctuations in even google toolbar for couple of my sites between 4 and 5. Even noticed fluctuation in # of indexed pages for these sites. # of indexed pages are changing from ~500 to ~7000.

 

Okay this is my situation... I started out getting links to a new site about 2 months ago without the "www.". I hit hard and heavy, then I realize I should be doing my links with a "www.".
The last 3 weeks I've been linking my site with a "www." Anyway, when I check my pr's without the "www." pr is between pr4-5 even a 6. But when I do it with the "www." pr is only pr2's.

No update in India Till Now. But Mcdar SEO Tools gives changes within some datacenters regarding backlinks.

All these threads have completely put me off even checking the PR any more. When I think of PR now all I think of is these threads that ramble on for hundreds of pages lol.

Im actually glad all the hijinks happened on a weekend so the million threads died down a little.

I could care less about PR these days
