PageRank/Back Link Update (2/18/2006)

Sorry, but I disagree. There is going to be a considerable amount of fluctuation in this aspect over the coming weeks, and what you are seeing won't hold. We have been told by MC that he doesn't expect a PR update until all the DC's are showing BD results, and that'll be approx. mid-March.

 

I don't think it is accurate, unfortunately. I would love to be wrong however, as it is predicting a PR6 for both of my sites (currently PR5 and PR4). I have been working hard for months and months now, and yes I deserve a PR6 BUT I don't think it will happen this time around.

 

There's alot of things Matt doesn't expect to happen. That doesn't mean they won't.

Im quite pissed off cause the site i worked the hardest on went down a PR.

I said it was over well i tought because the toolbar was actually for the first time showing me new Page Ranks... it hasnt done that. My physics site was Pr6.

I guess im mistaken... oh well. i apologize

I do not think this tool is acurate at all. The "Mcdar" tool seems to be much better and much more accurate in delivering the correct results.

The update is definitely happening. You want proof? We started www.articlesonline.org just a couple of months ago and today I see it has a PR2.

 

I hope it goes to PR6 - it is a nice site; however, I am still seeing it as PR0. Good luck!

 

http://www.projectphysics.com/ shows a PR6 for me on Firefox with Google toolbar.

 

I don't think it's even close to being over yet, my internal pages have been jumping all over the place and the backlink checker tool is showing 0 pr and 0 bl's for the sites I'm watching. 2 of which have been pr5 since the last update and are jumping around from 5 and 6 today(and 0 on the toolbar too)

I think we're looking at a tense few days at least.

Well thats nice but if those are the actual results im really dissapointed my main site dropped a PR. Oh well, that just means ill have to do more work in the next 4 months. Income will be cut by 50% though
