PageRank/Back Link Update (2/18/2006)

I have some sites going from 0 to 4, but my main site still stayed 4. I really was hoping to at least go to 5 with that one..

 

I have also noticed that some sites have risen higher with very little effort verses other sites that were pounded with links recieved a just a small jump....

It is seeming like where you links are coming from is what matters most... A new strategy for building PR is being born.... It has nothing to do with the amount of PR the site has that is linking to you, it matters how authoritive that site is or you'll get nothing....

I have brought a site from 0 to 3 with one link and another site from 0 - 5 with a couple links.... Some people have been pounding sites with links but didn't recieve what they should have or what they would have last year.....

Just seems like Google will apply PR only if it is neccessary and they have somehow figured out a way to do it....
www.iwebtool.com represents what you should have under normal circumstances.... Just like the algorithm on search, Google has found a piece of the puzzle to pull out.....

 

I'm seeing a lot of my own sites being reverted back to pre jagger PRs. - Anyone else seeing this?

I wonder if this PR update is in some way tied in with the Jagger update, in the sense that its also considering the quality and relevance of the links you have, which would explain why some of the aforementioned sites that have had a lot of effort put into link building aren't seeing such good returns? If so then that's a good thing IMO.

Same scenario here..

When checked with seo, mcdar tools it showing low pr

when checked with seologs.com its showing a better pr

My ToolBar shows same as what seo or mcdar tool showing.

Hm, its still changing. Its different on all PR Ranking tools i use, lol.

it now changed some sites to PR5 on some DB.

 

So may be mcdar and SEO tools are the correct ones

Thats the tool which we are discussing about.
Its showing the results may be including the latest backlinks.

MCdar and SEOtools are totally different from these

 

Dammit. So not happy. Time to buy some PR7,8 & 9 links.

 

Now what's up with this??!! This tool gives completely different results than the others. The results from this one looks correct!
