So the other day I checked on this site that supposedly checks how many backlinks I have and it said I had 7... 4 links from my site and 3 from vbulletin.org. Now I've checked on a new site and it's saying I have 46 backlinks on 36 domains and 32 IPs.. http://www.domain-pop.com/ ====> www.offthaave.com you can look for yourself and it will tell you the PR of the sites indexed. Well this whole week, I've been submitting to PR0-PR5 directories so I guess it hasn't picked that up yet. Giving your best judgement.. by the next PR update and my current back links number generated, what would you say my PR2 site would be? I think the highest I'm indexed in that doesn't show there is 2 PR5 directories and some pr3 and/or pr4. On another note... how is page rank determined? I've been researching this quite a bit but maybe you fellas can give me a good run down. I know it's not PR that determines it, instead traffic but how many backlinks do I need to get to a good PR that ppl would want to advertise on my site more then I currently have? What do I gotta do to raise my PR?? Good tips would be fine and tutorial links and info would be even greater! Thanks -offthaave

PR is determined by backlinks.....it is a complex formula....your pr is determined by the PR of the sites that link to you and your outgoing links
That tool is pretty neat, not precise but cool. A PR4 update would be All Well. Now that tool says I have 353 as the other one said 40 or so... hmmmmm anyways, thanks for the input all.
