Pagerank anomolies...

    I have a domain which I bought about 7 months ago and I have it stealth forwarded to one of my sites.

    This domain name only has 4 backlinks, yet google shows it as a PR3 site.

    :confused: How can this be?

    Another anomoly I noticed is that a site called meatspin.com has over 60,000 backlinks and yet is is a PR4 site.

    Why only PR4???

    it doesn't mean that you have many backlinks it means you can gain more or high PR... The reason for high PR is more quality links... even if you have a small quantity of backlinks and it's all quality you can gain high PR...And it's Google's PR algorithm...

    I have no idea ask the Google gods... :p

    Focus more on SERPs and site's traffic rather than PR....
