I've seen a few pagerank toolbars. PR is just a formula calculated by google to give the page a "trusted" status on a scale of 1-10. So I went to google tools and showed him the page rank of one of our clients websites and I said what's the ranking, he very poor I said that's right now where is that page on an actual search on google he said it is number 1 page 1 so I said who cares about page rank. About 8 weeks after that Google anounced that it was removing page rank from google tools because to many people were taking to much notice of it and it realy ment nothing. The only reason given for not removing it from google toolbar was it was technically to dificult. The only affect it had on us was that people believed that if they linked to a site that had bad page rank it would hurt their ranking, also incorrect.
