    Hello,

I have two sites that I would like to talk about.

    1) site has a page rank of 2 and 3 backlinks. This site is dead, but it's still a PR2. It's connected with 1 PR5 site.

    2) Has 4-5 forum posts per day and a lot of traffic. It has been around for sveral years and is not banned in google. I have my link on a few PR3 & PR5 sites that are the same type as mine. However, for some reason this site is still a PR0.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get at least a PR1?

You need more links from relevant pages to get PR and also you need to keep on getting few incoming links now and than, don't not stop the process.

Well your first site is connected to a PR5 site and i guess that PR5 site has very less out going links so it passwes all PR to you

Your second site doesnt have PR because you dont have quality incoming links and the sites which link to you have many out going links.

    Always post links...

There is age and alot of other factors that can go into page rank...

You cant just issue a few points you see and expect to get a real good answer.

Post the urls so we can really look at it.

its easy to get a PR1. Just add your link to sites like myspace/delicious/deviantart/pr3 guestbooks/do link exchanges with pr3 sites/add your self to wikipedia/digg your site/comment on blog posts ect..... Then you will have atleast pr1/2 maybe evan a 3.

I would suggest putting links to your site in groups (as your signature), popular social bookmarking sites, and in blogs. In addition, keep your content coming in to make the site continue to grow. Good luck.
