Ok you saw those sites where you enter your domain URL and get info about the pagerank, alexa score, inbound links and maybe some more info What kind of scripts are that, any pointers? Thanks
If I want it depends on the price you charge for that, if thats just slapping a free script then I won't pay much, thats why I am inquiring
There are a lot of Pagerank scripts floating around based upon some old code that doesn't work. Here's one that does work: hm2k.com/projects/pagerank (You'll have to add http and www yourself, since I am not yet worthy of posting links). It's an interesting read because it explains why the old stuff doesn't work. The way I read it, it's a violation of Google's TOS to grab the pagerank via an automated query, so I don't understand why they don't shut this down. If you look in the source code for the Google toolbar you'll see a comment saying you shouldn't be reverse engineering this!
