I am pretty sure it will sell with a few 0's at the end, many of Google country domains are barely a PR 9

Anything under 100k for a website like this that maintained PR 9 for years is a bargain, even if the site had no traffic. ...and this site HAS both great functionality & decent traffic & even thousands of quality backlinks.

If you don't oversell links (like putting 15 or more on the homepage), you can easily make your money back in 1-2 years as long as you don't get greedy & you can monetize the content in other ways as well. Like someone here said, there's more uses for a PR 9 site than just selling links. How about selling advertising on the podcasts that users listen to or charging people to feature their podcast etc. or actually developing its content?

To the guy that said a PR 9 is worth 2k, obviously you're wrong, because people on the auction are currently bidding over 20k. A website is worth what someone will pay for it, not what you or anybody else estimates. And whoever buys a site like this should think of it as a long-term investment & not as "let's see how many links I can sell on in it as fast as possible" Just my 2c.

    Wow, a PR9?

I like Flippa. Actually I just listed one of my main sites over there.

Well I think $155k is an OK price to pay, but doubt someone will "but it now" for that much unless they're worried about another bidder grabbing it from under them ;-)
Probably the auction will end just around $100k I guess
But it has to get a lot of bids in the last few days, otherwise someone will get a steal!

Did anyone find out if this site actually was a PR9?

I noticed some people on the auction comments saying that is was actually a PR0.

    Any Thoughts?

it's a true pr9.. but not based on the current content, which means you'll likely see a huge fall in the future.. thought the great amount of backlinks may play a big role in helping it to maintain decent pr. Check out the waybackmachine and have a look at how it used to look (http://wayback.archive.org/web/20050701000000*/http://www.ipodder.org) and you'll see it's vastly different.

It didn't sell.. If I owned it, I'd be trying to unload it asap.

If this PR 9  site is not earning enough revenue, then no one cares if this site is PR 9.
