The only glitch is that any "tool" you use will still be a BOT . and the code is a simple javascript of {IF THEN} statement . IF {BOT} THEN REDIRECT ELSE {NO ACTION} so there is no way to overcome this faking . You can check a site though by doing a search in google "site:sitename.com" and see the number of pages indexed that will give an idea of the reputation of the site . If the site shows 4 pages indexed and a PR 4 then fake PR for sure . Generally a PR 2 site will have around 200 + pages indexed approx then the number increases exponentially for higher versions of PR . If you are thinking about buying links then these redirect links can give serious penalty threat . Look for genuine looking blogs for links and as a double check check a MOZrank of the site . MOZ rank for any site is approx (1.5) value around google PR . Say a blog has a PR 4 then Moz can be around 3.5 to 4.75 .

Yes agreed , even I had a chat with a person who is a top contributor in google webmaster forums and he literally said - That tool never really works ! I think webmaster is a proper reporting platform but a small glitch , it is very slow and notorious in picking up forum links .

 

How do you know it has no inbound links?
