Six months ago I would have told you that new sites start off with PR2 or PR3and in some cases PR4 after their first update. Eighteen months ago I would have been muttering about the sandbox and emerging dirctory masters. These things change and those that still believe in it are holdng there breath waiting for the axe to fall. Others believe it has already fallen but no one really knows whats happening right now, besides nothing. Google takes a dim view of the way the industry used and abused PR and its busy changing the way we do things.
