Page views versus visits - What is the difference?

    I notice this number is different in Google Analytics. When is a page view not a visit?

    Visit = one unique IP/visitor.
    Absolute Unique Visitors = How many true unique IPs did you had.
    Pageviews = how many pages has that unique IP had in a particular timespan.
