page views increase ranking

Can page views increase page rank? Lets say i sent some views with traffic exchange, would this increase its ranking in google?

Also, do videos with more views in youtube get ranked higher?

 

Page views can't increase page rank and this can't improve ranking in google because the important factor to improve traffic from search engine is to update the site regularly with unique content and backlinks of the website. I am not sure but if the videos are voted more and if they are searched for specific keyword then they rank higher in search engine results.

 

The more views your site gets, then it moves up a bit in the search engines. However, if you don't have lots of high powered backlinks, then you are most likely not going to end up with high rankings.

 

Traffic exchanges won't really help your page rank, but they do help your alexa rank.

 

You still really need backlinks to improve your page rank, not necessarily pageviews.

 

I've never seen it affect page rank, I've seen good backlinks determine page rank.
