Page views a LOT lower than actual

Hey,

I have adsense on a number of sites, all ad units are working (All are image only) but the stats showing on adsense is unbelievably lower in adsense performance reports than I know is actual for the number of displays.

Can anyone help me as to why it would show such a low number?
It is showing less than 10% of the actual displays.

 

Hey! Where did you put the ads? Have you tried putting it on the end of your posts and on pages? Or did you just put it on one single page in your website?

The ads are sitewide, 3 ads per page on some sites, 2 on others, either way, the number of views showing is nowhere near what it should be, even if you have an error margin.

You can control the size of your ads, the position of the sites, and even the type of the ads (choose the niche you want). This definitely affects the click rate.

I have changed the settings (Although changing the niche is new to me!)

I have been out of working online for some time now so a lot has changed.

For example lets say I have 1 page with 3 image only adsense ads - I could be showing 2 ad views for a full day, when I know even the smallest site has at least 100+ of views from code I have installed, i.e. is isnt a spider but an actual visitor - How could adsense be showing so few impressions for image ads.

Something really doesn't add up..

That is because significant portion of your traffic is from low end mobiles using opera mini or Symbian browsers and they don't display Google ads. Check your analytics to confirm this and no there is no solution to it.
