Hello, What is your opinion about the following page title issues? How would you write them? 1) All words starting with capital letters (looks better), but does Google like it? Online Hotel Reservations & Reviews or Online hotel reservations & reviews 2) Using special characters like... >>> Online hotel reviews *Online hotel reviews 3) Repeating similar niche keywords: Airlines and airports information, flight booking, airfare comparison Other tips on what to do, what not to do?
all letters starting with capital is good. i.e Online Hotel Reservations & Reviews don't use special character, you can use pipe | or comma ,
I would begin with keyword research so the page title is traffic driving as well as relevant to your content.
Done that... these are examples. The questions was: which form of displaying them is good for SEO. We pretty much have our own ideas, but I am always open to hear new opinions. You never know...
I like to use all capitals, it does look better. Dashes, commas, parenthesis, and separators are fine I would think. I didn't realise that Google cared about capitalizing letters.
Writing titles is more of a psychology. Your best bet is to probably reading up on some copy-writing and sales letters either letters or videos. The Advance Marketing Institute has an online software where you can test the emotional impact of your headline
Upper case words is good too.. I forgot where was i read about it, but if you use pipe : | then G consider it as a split title. for example : Airlines and airports information, flight booking, airfare comparison will be different with : Airlines and Airports Information | Flight Booking | Airfare Comparison
