It is a known fact that search engines don't like duplicate page titles. My questions is......when you have a category section that has multiple pages in it, what is the best thing to do with the page titles: Example. You have a bicycle website and one of your categories is "Huffy Bikes" Once in the "Huffy Bikes" section there are 30 bikes (10 per page) and 3 pages. All three page titles are "Huffy Bikes" What is the best thing to do in this situation regarding the page titles?
An excerpt from Google's SEO starter guide "Create unique title tags for each page: Each of your page should ideally have a unique title tag, which helps Google know how the page is distinct from the others on your site. Avoid: Using a single title tag across all of your site's pages or a large group of pages" Now if I am interpreting it correctly, it says to use unique title because it will help search engines distinguish one page from another, depending on the theme. In your case you have three pages to the same category and therefore you can only have a single title describing all the pages, until you have something different on all those 3 pages. Also, it is stated that using the same title should be avoided for a large group of pages. I would not classify 3 pages as a large group of pages. Therefore I see no harm in doing it. That's my take on it. Hope it helps.
thanks davisponch ..this problems is a different problems..i want to resolve this problmes too..but I find it si difficult..hope other have some method..wait..
Every page of a website should have a different Title, Description & keywords. Never use the same keywords in this case you can differentiate the titles like this e.g Huffy Bikes"- Write Down The Model Number or Name There must be something like model number or model name. Regards, Sarah
