Please can someone point me in the direction of a page strength indicator. I'm starting to see this mentioned more and more as a valuable indicator, along with Page Rank.

    Thanks

"valuable indicator, along with Page Rank."

Toolbar Page Rank is NOT a valuable indicator. Maybe in 2002 it was.

Page Strength is SEO moz's tool that they created which goes way beyond TBPR.

With regards to SEO mozs page strength. it still uses alexa as a metric LOL. They need to change that to use Compete.com's ranking IMO

I take your point on Page Rank but everyone still wants to know PR when determining the worth of a site, so I guess it must have some value.

    Thanks for the PS link.

"PR when determining the worth of a site" Try and stear away from that. Take a look at actual metrics. These are a few that are important without getting too off topic here:

-How many outgoing links do they have? The more the less weight your link will get.
    - Is the site similar to yours in theme?
    - How many backlinks do they have?
    - How old is there site?
    - When you look at "Similar pages" in google what kind of sites show up? If there other authoritative sites then google might think its authoritative as well.
    - When you put in "site.com" into google does it have an indention of listing showing that google trusts your site as the authoritative site for that term.

    etc. etc.

I agree about Alexa sucking, but SEOmoz's Page Strength tool rocks.

If you really want to know your PR, LivePR is cool.
