Page redirect question

    Hi all I am up for this term> Pet Food Business Opportunities < Personalized Results 11 - 20 of about 87,100,000 for Pet Food Business Opportunities.

    My site is on the 2nd page of Google but I want to change the url from www.dog-trainers.us/dogtrainersHPN/ pet_food_business.html to http://www.dog-trainers.us/pet-food-business.html will this fuck up my ranking I already renamed the page but I still have www.dog-trainers.us/dogtrainersHPN/pet _food_business.html on the web" should I delet this page www.dog-trainers.us/dogtrainersHPN/pet _food_business.html and just wait till the new one climbs or should I write in the page this page is no longer here please visit http://www.dog-trainers.us/pet-food-business.html

    if you already have one page ranked, then its best to keep it that way unless there is a pressing need to rename the file. however, if you must rename, then for sure you will need to redirect
