    HI All, this is a big subject.
    I was wondering how this is calcualted by google and how google gives you a page ranking and where can I find my page ranking. I understand the higher the page ranking the better. Any help and discussion would be grateful.:D

    First of all you need to understand an algorithm for Page Rank.

    Quality and quantity of backlinks matter for PageRank, hence high PR and related to your site backlinks might give you good PageRank.

    Start watching videos from Matt Cuts. He works for google webmaster tools and basically I would trust anything he says more than people that claim they do.

    Page rank isn't important. I have sites ranking really well in Google with almost no page rank and some have 0. It's more important to get quality content and a good amount of links that will point to your site.

    Start watching his videos... he always answers what people send in.

    There are 125 videos that will be of great interest. I hope people actually watch it because as someone working for google he is more likely to know what goes on then any guru telling you something that isn't true.

    PR is about links, not their quality sometimes but their PageRank. It is better having a top ranking website than a high PR one.
