How do you know EXACTLY where your website/blog ranks in regards to page rank with Google? I have a blog http://makingadollaroutof15cents.info and whenever I Google it it comes up no less than fourth down the line on the first page. Does this mean that I rank high on the page rankings of Google?

When you google what? Your site name? It means absolutely nothing - It's should be easy to rank number one for your website name when its not comprised of competitive keywords. You want to target keywords that people actually search for.

Your site doesn't seem to have a page rank (you can use www.webprrank.com to check). Being on the first page of Google's search result page can have significant meaning; however, that is dependent upon the number of results available. For example, if you're appearing as #4 out of 100 websites, that doesn't have much value, but if it's #4 out of 20,000,000... that means you're doing something right. The search term being used to appear on the #4 spot is also important. Popularity is driven by the number of results available.

More than sure that your website didn`t catched the last PR update, or it was born too soon

Right now the blog is coming up #2 out of 36,200,000 and I am assuming that is good. However, what I am also is assuming is that I want people directed to the blog, for instance, when, someone Googles "coupons" what I really want is for my blog to come up (my blog deals with the use of coupons in the course of shopping for household goods, amongst other things). Could someone take a look at the site http://makingadollaroutof15cents.info and tell me what keywords would best drive people to my site and how I can get search engines to recognize the keywords vis-a-vis my blog.

Number of search results is not important, in fact, it a meaningless number for determining traffic to your site. It's the number of actual searches for a keyword that's important. If you rank number one for a term no one searches for, it is completely useless.

"You appear #18 for term "making a dollar", out of 7,460,000 websites."

It's a term no one searches for. Even a number one ranking won't bring you traffic. That's why keyword research is so important.

PR is different from SERP. what you see on google 1st page is your SERP and it doesn't mean that you have low PR. You can be on top of google even you have PR0 because based their SERP on the relevancy of your site depending with so many elements.

Is it true? The more backlink you have, the higher pagerank your site get.

are those link whereby other website link to you.....talk to other webmaster and nicely ask for a link (expect rejection more than acceptance).....or you could buy them from directory or other website
