How to improve PR of a website and how frequently page rank is calculated by google? Does any one care to tell?
u improve ur pr by getting more backlinks from other sites, and google updates this once very 2-4 months i believe, there is an update taking place currently, just build up ur backlinks and wait for it to update lol
just get back links and stay on Google subforums here on DP; you will be having a new thread every now and then about PR update to update you about PR update.
That was complicated Pagerank update is indeed more or less every 3 months. Last is just finished I think, so the next one will probably be around mid april. But that's just an estimate. Don't kill me if it isn't true
Well the last Google update was on 11th January 2007 so as Diether said just make an estimate of about after 3 months and there will be your next google pr update I have recently started my blog (the one you see in my signature), its 2 weeks old and i have done a lot of SEO. so according to iwebtool Pagerank Prediction tool on next google pr update my blog is gona get pr 4 and it currently has app. 2,000 backlinks
Other than just getting a lot of back links, you can also try and get links from high pr sites, (sites with like pr6,7,8 etc) and have less outgoing links from that page. Better if these are related sites as that will help more in your seo efforts than just PR... Bye
Man .. make a search on DP before opening threads as this has been already several times . In short .. to improve PR : you need to get links / links from other high PR sites . how frequently : 3-4 times a year . No ones knows the exact date for the update .

Simply link to high pr or same pr sites with same or relevant content. Over and over and over....... yeah just do it alot.

hmm that was a bit complicated but going through the pr Update threads is a bit more may be approaching to this much frequency in near future
you do know that the Toolbar Pagerank has nothing to do with your rankings....right? If you are looking to rank higher don't concentrate on PR
