PR means how much trust Google gives your site. So the higher the PR the higher the ranking which means more traffic.
You will get PR if you get dofollow links from other website's pages with high PR. Pr doesnt depend on your website traffic
The PR of the homepage doesn't depend as much on traffic as that of the inner pages. The inner pages of a site which receive Link Juice from the homepage, depend quite highly on traffic to them to increase the PR. Though traffic calculation by an external source is very difficult, i can say that traffic is a requirement for the PR.
Page Rank definition is "Link Analysis Algorithm", so i think just back links are important for Good PR.
Google Pagerank and traffic have no direct dependency, but afterall a high PR website gets high traffic from search engines. and a website with high traffic ( where the traffic is coming from must be backlinks ) will have generally high PR.
I thing it more to the backlinks that you have for your site. I have seen many site with high Google PR but they have poor Alexa rank (which base on traffic).
PR depends on two factors - first, the quality of your backlinks and second, the quality and quantity of your content.
I agree that PR depends on your content at the same time if your backlinks are of high quaility and related to your niche.
No relationship whatsoever. For example, I've seen *lots* of PR0/PR1 sites with tons of traffic (and an incredible Alexa rank), but also some trusted sites with PR4 and hardly any traffic. However, a high PR site is more likely to score well in the Google SERPs for its main keywords, but that does not guarantee traffic..
HMMMM... The never ending question... No one knows for sure what factors EXACTLY are the ones Google considers for ranking a site. But, why worry about PR? PR is something that happens every three months. Concentrate on increasing your SERPS. PR is nothing more than a "prestigious" denomination, or recognition, or identification, whatever you wish to call it, BUT it does NOT guarantee traffic or even sales.
page rank depends upon the back links and content of the website. high PR backlinks and good content provides the higher PR. i think it does not depends on the traffic
PR depends on the number of quality back links. increase quality back links through different sources to increase PR of your site/blog
there is no relation of traffic in PR i think just go for quality back links on PR pages. Correct me if I am wrong.
