Link building is the way to improve your page rank. SEO is a long process. Don't give up, keep on doing SEO, analyze competitor.
you can improve by getting more links to your website from relevant websites, social bookmarking websites, etc...
Stay out of "bad neighborhoods".... (link farms and such). Your inbound links should be from sites that are relevant to yours.
What a pity! Even if you can build quality backlinks and publish original content on your sites, you can't still gain a Google PR because we haven't met a update for a long time.
Interestingly, page rank doesn't seem to affect placement in the search engines as much as one would think. Well written meta tags, content rich pages, and relevant backlinks seem to matter more.
everyone on this forum is too worried about their PR. i have a PR0 website and its still ranked extremly well. PR means nothing!
