Uploading a web page from doshdosh.com wouldn't have assigned the PR6 to your domain. The only way that is possible is through the 301 redirect flaw which exists in Google and has been described already by others in this thread. Irrespective, the PR will be wiped now that the 301 has been removed. As for people saying PR is dead.... in addition to what social-media posted. Why would Google kill off the gold mine that is PR. All they have to do is flick a switch to start the PR export and half the webmaster community instantly jumps and starts talking about it thus creating instant buzz for Google. As has been determined those with high PR that are not listed are just fake PR. If Google has assigned a PR then it is ranked and included in their engine. As for those suffering due to low PR because they think it should be higher... I think everyone should link their web site to mine, but it ain't gonna happen. Just because one person wants something doesn't mean Google needs to accomodate them.
