It was a whole string of code-like stuff across the page.

    It works fine now.

HOWEVER - if i type http://mydomain.co.uk - it suggests it might be fake
If i type www.mydomain.co.uk - it says its valid.

I know its valid as i'm the only person who has owned it and i've had it a long time and i'm not redirecting it. So, it's something to do with not typing www. Have tried it with several of my domains
    and the same thing happens.
The message for the non www version is "does not match Google's record of the URL. Reasons for this maybe a few reasons including, the URL is fake or the URL has been redirected" - maybe you should suggest the user try the www version before assuming its fake

Hi Matt. I tried it & it works. However it tells me my main site is 'new' & has no google backlinks, when it's 5 or so years old & has (at last check) a 'measley' 4 google recognised BL's.
It also says my blog is new & not indexed by google. It has been receiving analytics info for the last 4 or so years (but I have recently cocked up & have somehow 'switched off' analytics.

Thanks I've booked marked it & will have more of a look later. I've been using Submit Express up till now BTW.
