Page Rank Value?

Hi friends,Is page rank still an important thing regarding Google.Last PR update was in March i guess.It's almost 6 months no updates are there.So what you think guys?Is Google going to vanish PR or What?

 

Hmm.. All are waiting for PR update. And Google always give importance to PR.

 

Yeah... but it wont stop you from moving up in the search engines if you do everything else that google loves in order to mover your website up in the search engines.

 

Moving up is ok but what about PR value?

PR denotes the hard work done by you. The better PR, more reputation in SE.

 

But No PR updates from past 6 months.What you think?

Yes, Page rank has still importance for Google and that's why it exist. It show the importance of a website.

 

PR is important, but it isn't the most important factor for ranking anymore.

 

Google has updated PR in September. PR of my website and blog has updated in September. But this was a small PR update. Not all the domains have counted in this.

 

Dear friends i think PR has been updated on 14th sep, because my all inner page having 0 pr now hav 2 PR....

I don't think PR will vanish in near future. PR plays vital role in terms of search.

 

Yes, it is valuable and indicative also. if you site has 5 page rank then there is 50 chances of searches of your sites.

 

Nothing like that friend.Sites with 1 or 2 PR are also on top in ranking than 4-5 PR sites.

 

Still PR is important, wait for next update on Oct!

Better Pr helps gets page rank indexed faster and more often.
That's enough value for one thing that you should care about it.

 

Well firstly.. there was an update not even 3 months ago..

PageRank... well it is a method to measure how hard you have worked.. but in real world terms it does not have much bearing, i have new sites which have a lot of traffic, and old established sites with PR and little traffic.. at the end of the day i would much prefer a website that has traffic than PR.. Too many webmasters waste their time checking PR every few days when in fact it plays very little part as to whether or not a site is classed as successful.
