    You know thats funny cause myself and the wife also own a Florist and that site has been up well over a year. She cant place any backlinks on that site cause it is through one of the wire services and I have no access to the site to do anything.

    I have submitted it to many dir as I have my own....But Ive done alot more with mine then with the florist cause I cant really do anything with it...The florist site is a PR1 and Im still at a PR0 with a bucket more than what she will ever have.

    Is it because of the time the site has been active on the net that she has this PR1 ??

    My site has only been up since mid-Feb also.

    The Backlinks to pages are chnaging daily but no PR update happen yet. I think google is doing certain un-usuall processing on the collected data becouse there are few chnages on the google search result page as well. For example you can see there is "links from this site" added to that page.

    The benefit given by the age of the site is word of mouth and people linking to you for your services. It takes time to get to this state. A site known is a site visited.

    I would also have to say that a good relavent links (the kind that google likes) bring a lot of traffic. And sometimes better than google itself!

    i hadn't even a clue that they did update that thing! Well, that could be because i don't actually have the toolbar :cool:

    Well, i do have the installation file, but for some reason i can't be bothered to move the mouse over it and double-click it LOL ;)

    Well its basically only good for link trades IMO. It has no other use.. That is why it is not initially turned on.. Because most people who download the bar just want the popup stopper.

    But it is a very good webby tool for link trades and monitoring your comp.

    Google is long overdue for even a Backlink Update!

    The last was March 3rd. BUT, then again, Google still to this day, has 6 Datacenters still reporting JANUARY Backlink results.

    Not really. It might be if the toolbar PR was updated regularly but since it hasn't been since 1941 :eek:

    It actually has many uses even if the PR graph is disabled... I use it all the time and mostly now I don't even notice what the PR graph is doing...

    You must have missed bobmutch's prediction: He "holds" that it will be updated on March 26, 2005 :D
