I can give you , in not such a PREMIERE, a not so BIG hint.

Google is making changes i think.

Please search for IBL's for any site. With the link: parameter.

GO to the last accessible page, and hit the "show all results" option.

Then go to the last link shown again (the last page).

For any website, google stops showing all results. It stops at about half way, or much less.

I think it's starting to show only a certain PR pages, or something like that.

    Examples :

    http://www.google.com/search?q=link:www.matco.ro&hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&start=10&sa=N&filter=0

    Results 11 - 11 of about 17 linking to www.matco.ro. (0.12 seconds)

Only showing 11 out of 17, and filtering is 0.

    http://www.google.com/search?q=link:www.linux.com&hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&start=900&sa=N&filter=0

    Results 801 - 808 of about 158,000 linking to www.linux.com. (0.63 seconds)

Only showing 808 out of 158.000, and filtering is 0.

    http://www.google.com/search?q=link:www.xperts.ro&hl=en&lr=&c2coff=1&start=180&sa=N&filter=0

    Results 141 - 143 of about 227 linking to www.xperts.ro. (0.30 seconds)

Only showing 143 out of 227, and filtering is 0.

    And so on.

What do you guys think ?

Coupled with the images, that are shown, on the standard web search (issue discussed all over) and with other changes...

I think Google might even try changing the Pagerank algorithm soon (don't trow things at me, i;m just guessing).

    Waiting for opinions.

Haven't they already implemented the patent? In fact, don't you have to have proved a patent viable for it to be granted? I forget how it works :p

expertu: your observations are brilliant confirming what we already know...Google is making changes ;)

I used to watch like a hawk, as it appears you do. One day I came to the conclusion that I have no control over this.

Have you ever thought that the PR update has already happened...google just ain't showen us yet:confused:

ANyway ... seems that many people noticed google being down, from all over the place, Canada , USA, France, ROmania (myself)

And most of the DC's that showed january and february IBL's , are now up to date with the march update.

welp, i just got this reputation now... a good one this time though :) i'm not sure it it was the same person just deciding to take back what they did before or what, but that leaves me with a better impression of these forums :)
