It is actually rather simple to determine the next PR update. Just take the julian date of the last update and multiply it by the number of rickshaws in Time Square on noon of the following day. Then divide the result by the approximate air speed velocity of an unladen swallow ( African or European) and wallah: 3 - 4 months depending on the relative humidity at 1600 Amphitheater Parkway. "Do not anticipate trouble, or worry about what may never happen. Keep in the sunlight." (Benjamin Franklin)
It is only Google that can tell when is the next PR update, but I am sure there is going to be an update before the end to this year.
I'm waiting it to be in the end of october but some changes in the pr can happen for some sites. I think google is changing something again and may be it will be the last pr update
I don't think you can ever say "the last PR update". Bit like saying "I'm never going to drink again"
According to Matt Cutts the pr update could be showing up as soon as this weekend. Check comment # 4 in this post.
Who knows maybe it still is and Matt is putting some mis-information out there as link bait... LOL All I can say is he posted it there. I tend to have a "I will believe it when I see it attitude with these things."
Thank you Matt - yah, it used to be a secret - but now that we have a blogger on the "inside" life is better
I agree, everybody should just take a chill pill. Keep working your SEO, backlinks and posts. When it happens it happens.
Actually why are you people more conscious about PR update??? Do your SEO work correctly.... You will get nice PR and SERP....
A week around a PR update is always exciting week. I now PR is not much of a help for SERPs but it is helpful for those who are selling and trading links. Anyway it is like we all are waiting for a grade in school
