Page Rank suddenly from 1 to 6

    Google gave my domain name a pr of 6, someone told me that's probably pr spoofing but i didn't understand what it means. my site already has over 100 backlinks from trusted and social bookmarking sites and the page rank was 1. But it became 6. can you please tell what really did happen.

    Are you 100% sure? ive sometimes visited my own sites, seen what i think is a pr increase, i then refresh a couple of times and its not so.

    Pls suggest me also how to increase the page rank of site from 1 to 6 as my site Pr is also 1 :D

    Even my google toolbar says it is PR 6. We have to wait and watch whether it sticks to its high level in the days to come or it is just a PR dance...

    That happened to me one although i went from pr 2 to pr 6 but then a few days later i went down to pr 1 no idea what happened

    PR is really great PR man..
    But according to many comments .. now its a fake OR which is of NO USE..
    Its is achieved using .htaccess file ;)
