Page Rank = SE Rankings??

    Okay I have a question.

Page Rank =ing to SE traffic or SE rankings.

Now a PR3 site say we call it Site A, it is linking to site B, C and D. It gives each one of those sites a PR1 right off the back,

Your site is Site B and Site C links to you giving you an additional PR1 making your total PR2, in this example those sites do not have have other external links (given the quality of PR sending very HIGH)

if site A linking to you at Site B to your Homepage and then Site C linking to an addtional page such as onlinegames.html (using the keywords Online Games) anyways.

does your Homepage become PR1 and onlinegames.html become PR1, and if so how does that act on the SE (Google Traffic) how does the rank in search results effect that by any means, showing your HP = PR1 and .html page = PR1, im confused how its changing your rank in Results??

I mean in away its sorta different because it says "Page" rank, but people would have to be linking to a bunch of different post/pages to increase more page ranks on your website, if thats how it works. So say Site "G" is a PR5 and says he will link to you if you link to him with your PR4 (and if you don't have any other links and he say has 10, your getting 0.50pr and your given him PR4 (usually you would have other links, but for the sake of this trying to make a point) of course its not a good deal, or at least I think its not.. ideas??

Just trying to clarify this a bit. Hope I made some sense with this. But i was looking over the wikki on how Page Rank is made.

First of all, I am of the opinion that PR has very insignificant role to play in serps. I have observed umpteen number of times a PR0 site ranking way higher above even PR3 and hence, I firmly believe that higher PR does not necessarily translate into higher serp position.

Okay, but saying that is true, and I think I might have heard something intune with that... what is the purpose of PR? I mean yea find out what pages are quality or what people like, but other then being able to brag "I have a PR5 site" what else can that do for me?, also other then people wanting to link with me, I guess could show link value, but there needs to be more meaning to it?

You always have to remember that there is a damper effect of about 85% so a PR1 site would only pass on 0.85 PR to another site. Also, PR is not that important in Search Engine rankings because there are many other factors such as title links and keywords on a page.

No, its not the same, but matters.
PR is one of the factors that could get you into high SE rankings for sure.

I don't think pr makes a difference in the rankings because I have a pr 2 and I rank right in front of a pr 5 and then a pr 1 is number one.

PR is all about the importance of a page while serp is all about the relevance of the page to the query. A page that has high PR with it's good content but it's not the factor for ranking as there are more similar pages/content that is much close or exactly what the user looking for and related according to Google's algorithm.

To get some PR you need some links, to get some SERP you need links... So in some way - it is connected. But not directly.
