Hello, I've found a domain thats PR-5. It has about 500 backlinks elsewhere but few if any on google. Question: Does Google only consider backlinks on google's network or does it consider ALL back links?
If you are talking about using the link: command, Google only shows SOME of the links you have. It surely knows about all (or most) links you have, but chooses to not show them when doing the link command. Probably to thwart us evil SEO'ers
The main thing is google not only take into account of backlink but also your link potential of the particular website and also social bookmarking.
Use yahoo siteexplorer and MSN search to find backlinks. Google only shows a fraction of the links it counts.
google shows google backlink not any other links and it doesnot even shows all the links you can check iwebtool.com to check backlink
google likes revelant backlinks but still it will show others takes some time.Using tools is of of way to check your total backlinks. www.backlinkwatch.com
