I have a domain name redirected to a website. I own both. The domain shows PR3 on my Google bar. The website is older and PR0 On Alexa, the domain shows no datas. Is it possible??
There are 3 links outside that domain pointing to it and the domain brings 500-600 uniques. Can it be PR3 with that?
Is it a redirected by DNS, or it its a site based redirect? The first one may not be dug by alexa. Good luck!
you might have promoted the new site more seriously than the old one it is quite possible and it has nothing to do with the age of the domain.
Yes , there are 3 outbound links. The domain is DNS redirect to www.myothersite.com/mynewdomain Myothersite.com is 3,000,000+ in Alexa and is PR0 myothersite.com/mynewdomain is PR3 and no datas on ALexa, and has 3 outbound links. No advertising whatsoever except the 3 links. And www.AnotherOneOfMySites.com has extensive advertising with numerous outbound links and 13K+ uniques/months and is PR0 - 860,000 on ALexa. All this doesn't make sense to me...
Codythebest,PR has nothing to do with the rank(i.e alexa rank). You need backlinks to your site only.. I assume you don't know what PR is.Here you go: http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&...2006-35,GGGL:en&q=define:pagerank&btnG=Search
