Page Rank Not Important

Now page rank is not that much important. We have to foucs some other metrics.

Over 200 factors affect to your website ranking. And I think PR is very important. So, May you show me what are the other metrics, please?

 

You should not worry about the toolbar PageRank ,it will not make much difference to your search results.Page Rank is particularly of interest to webmasters who try to monetize their sites through advertising

 

Page Rank is not important that's true. Google try to avoid link trading and stayed away from data that can be visible to everyone. In the same time Google form some kind of trust rank and use it in rankings, but didn't make same mistake and make it visible in toolbar. It is similar to PR but gives more attention to social media. Finally, here is +1 where that influence will be much bigger. I expect that this impact will grow in the next couple of years. So try to make some huge community on Google + and attract followers.

 

I think it's still useful, because who have higher pagerank will be easily to get INDEXED

I would say PR is still a key to get higher rankings, One can observe that the websites those rank high in Google do have more backlinks and high PR than the websites ranking lower in Google.

sure, but I have had sites with PR6 ranking worse than sites with PR4, but with much better link profile (i.e. not just a couple of links form high PR unrelated sites), bigger alexa, longer history etc. etc. So PR is important, but does not guarantee you a top 10 ranking.

 

i have website have page rank 5 www.sigmainfotech.com.au but i am still losing my position in google.com.au i gain 2 pr in this pr update but i lose three position on my top keyword. so i think pr is really not matter please help me to get better rank any new metrics for ranks better.

 

I've also notice that those sites with higher PR are not on top in search results, just like my blog. So it's not really important that much.

 

PR is qualified for website content. with PR then our website is in list to indexed by google based on the PR level.
but most important in website is the content it self.
even now domain in related topic can be counted on indexing technic.

 

I have to desagree you. Page Rank it is still important for authority backlinks .

You will not be ranking if you have good page rank on your page . It is not enough.

But it is very important to have High PR pages that links to your page. It is called Link juice , authority links.

Believe me if that rule will not be active that means the death of SEO as we know.

Pr(Page Rank) is still the key to the higher Ranking.Its simply the qualified status of your website to have the indexed list get going and the result to can verify in Google search engine by PR level.

Chasing PR (or links) is not beneficial to viewers.

But Content is beneficial to viewers. Which is why many say "content is king".


Content being king is proven by your SERP on the first page. I bet you could be a PR0 and still be on the front page if your content is strong enough.

I read this in a lot of forums that Page Rank is not important. If it was not why would Google give ranks to web pages?
