page rank is important because, it means how much value your page have on google and it also refers how frequently visitors are coming to your page.

Page rank is very important key factor in SEO if you have very page rank then you will get high page rank back links more easily, & if your website have very high page rank then also you can exchange your link with another good websites easily.

 

Everybody thinks pagerank is important but almost no one admits how important it is. The importance of pagerank can be scored by the point that Google considers the pagerank as one of the main point while ranking a site in its search results. If you have a good pagerank then you have high chance to be ranked above any other lower ranked page.

Pagerank is the general algorithm of Google which ranks a site on the basis of its back links. In fact the main element of allocating a Pagerank to any webpage is the number of sites linking to the webpage and their own Pagerank value. This can also be taken as a popularly contest between high interest sites.

Pagerank is measure with a scale from 0 to 10.

Pagerank 0-2: Any websites between a Pagerank of 0 to 2 are considered as new websites just starting out in the industry. Any sites that is cached by Google in its initial days are given Pagerank of 0 and later in the first Pagerank update they can be qualified for the Pagerank 2. Most new sites which gain a sustainable amount of backlinks within its preliminary stage can also receive a higher pagerank from Google.

Pagerank 3-6: Any established sites which has proven its performance and already have some good back links falls into this category. Most websites that are about 10-12 months old and with back links can get a Pagerank of 3-6

Pagerank 7-10: Any websites that has a Pagerank 7 or above can be considered as the industry leader of that niche. You can find very few sites gaining a Pagerank of 7 and above as it takes good amount of time and some established technique to get a Pagerank above 7.

Page rank is the important for a good website. Because without Page rank we are not success in a link building. And Google maintain a page rank, And Page rank increase a traffic or importance of a website. so i think page rank is a must for a website.

 

Page rank is Google specific as we know and it a measurement of how important a web page is. It is hard to achieve good page rank and with each jump in page rank it becomes harder to jump to the next level. So why bother worrying about it? Why do I even care? It won’t help me to get more traffic and conversions will it? Well I think it does and will!

The main reason why PR is important to me is as follow:

By itself is nothing - unless you are using page rank it is worth zilch. Google judges a site and gives a measurement of how authoritative a site is in the form of this PR. In goggles eyes if you get backlinks from high PR sites then your site must be an authority also which improves your PR and ultimately your serps.

So if you have high PR pages you can use this as currency to add links to for your other sites - the high PR or authority will then be passed down.

I use my high PR pages to add links to for my other sites.


Other reason why I think PR is important:

- Also it does have an impact on the serps for example if all were equal and you have a higher PR than another site you would rank higher - this is only one of the things Google takes into account but if Google take it into account - so do I !

- Backlinks are very important and the higher the page rank of the page you are linking from the better the quality of link.

- PPC - the higher the page rank of a site - it is thought that you will have an easier time of getting a good quality score.

These are my reasons why currently PR is important to me - however we all know that Google changes things frequently - so maybe it is important today and maybe it won't be tomorrow!
