If you are doing SEO of your site, you will get PR in next update. Make sure you are building quality links through different SEO sources.
Your Alexa Rank is good but you have to build better backlinks and from related sites. If you are doing this then in the next Google PR Update you will get better Page Rank..
SEO is the best method to get good traffic to your site, if your site is optimized for SEO you will have good traffic. Honestly pagerank is not so relevant from my experience. I outrank in Google websites with pagerank 3 or 4 and I have 0.
Increase the quality backlinks with link building activties and wait for Google toolbar pagerank update.
