Just wondering if anyone here knows of a site where you can check the PR of your site over time.

Sort of like an archive of your previous PR throughout the lifetime of the site.

Is there such a resource ??

    Thanks

    Alex

If google doesn't allow to get this info, then it is impossible to create such tool.

What would you do with it anyway?

I tend to leave the past behind and focus on the here and now.

Would it be handy as far as trying to sell a website?

Well my use was to actually go through and check the sites that I have developed over the past 5 years. There approximately 300 or so of them, and I was just looking to start cataloging them better for my own use, to see which ones have achieved a better PR than others.

Saw the "Greece" links. You in Athens? My dad was born there. The "Human Weapon" show on television last night was filmed in Greece. Wrestling martial art from that area.

The closest thing to what you are asking is this.

Go to google webmaster tools and click the statistics tab, then go to the crawlstats tab. It gives you the pagerank of all your pages, and under that a table of your highest ranked page by months.

There is no tool that can show you the pr history unless it's your website is listed with pr monitor with them or check once using a historical pr checker.

That would be a nice feature to have, but it would involve accessings Google private data for a myriad of sites, and I am certain they wouldn't relinquish such data easily

    Thanks for this post

It is really useful in knowing how to go about looking for the PR info of websites..

Possibly doing this repeatedly is an awesome way to go about it
