Hi guys, Definitely, two of the most significant SEO tips are excellent Content and backlinks. I know you are aware also that the major thing that contributes to page rank is backlinks. So, do you have any idea about the exact formula used by Google to calculate page rank? You may also share even just your own thoughts about page rank calculation. Actually, I am already done doing my research about this but I just want to know your ideas. Thanks
According to Sergey Brin and Lawrence (Larry) Page, Co-founders of Google, the PR of a webpage is calculated using this formula: PR(A) = (1 - d) + d * SUM ((PR(I->A)/C(I)) Where: * PR(A) is the PageRank of your page A. * d is the damping factor, usually set to 0,85. * PR(I->A) is the PageRank of page I containing a link to page A. * C(I) is the number of links off page I. * PR(I->A)/C(I) is a PR-value page A receives from page I. * SUM (PR(I->A)/C(I)) is the sum of all PR-values page A receives from pages with links to page A..
I think It's only, More Quality backlink = More Pagerank... Remember, only google know about pagerank, we can't calculate that one...
I have more exact pagerank formula from Brad Callen Course.. PageRank Formula : 0.15 = The lowest PR a webpage could ever possibly have. 0.85 = A dampening factor... This is just the number that Google uses for their PR formula. 1 "share" = the PR of the page linking to you divided by the total number of links on that page.
No one can describe the exact mathematical concept of google PR.We only know PR of our sites dip or high from the same day when google boat crawl our sites .I have seen soome sites with PR 4 even goes to pr 0 in a single update.
Hi, I think there is no such type of formula for google page rank. Just get quality backlinks, your site PR will be increase.
Networxnz is basically right. Of course there is a formula or algorithm of some kind 'cause Google is only a computer program after all. But no-one outside of a select few at Google will know the exact process. Google keeps it a secret to protect their own intellectual property which equates to the value of Google in Dollars (and I guarantee that's bigger than your page rank!) Most of the useful information about Google PR and search engine rankings is derived from reverse engineering Google. i.e. some of the most successful SEO/internet marketers testing various sites and scenarios to see what happens to them. Sometimes you just need to do the same thing yourself. Try it and see what happens! What is pretty much agreed across the board is that the PR of the page linking to you is important. In other words a PR 10 will give you much more 'Google juice' than a PR1. But not jut 10 times as much – more likely 1000's and 1000's of times more valuable. So if you can get just a few PR 7 and 8's you will be better off than someone with 1000's of PR0 and 1's. The one thing you should pull from this is that the amount of time & effort you put into linking can be very effective or almost futile depending on the links your getting. And we haven't even discussed nofollow/dofollow yet!
The more links you have the better, but its also the quality of those links. The higher the page rank of the linking pages, the more weight it will carry.
I am agree with uday_yadav2 views that Nobody can tell the exact formula for calulating the page rank....So try to get quality backlinks and put unique content and hope you will get good pr in next page rank updation...
Page rank calculation is depends on the how many backlinks you get more n more .....it also depends upon your inbound links of your site.....
