Yeah - unless there's something dodgy on your site, you're just suffering a temporary effect.

I freaked out after noticing a clients website dropped to 0 from PR of 5. I read posts on this site and thought it was the updating. After waiting a week, I stumbled upon some links which led me to the PR 5 website again with the real ranking. Then I noticed it had a www infront of the address like most addresses are formed. Normally I leave that out as I can reach all sites without it. However I read on google that there is a difference in the domain ranking with and without the www infront. So in reality the www.domain.com had a PR5 when http://domain.com had PR 0.

    Just thought I'd share that.

It could be a number of things, backlinks could have dropped off for one :) make sure to get permanent exchanges for good backlinks!

Same problem I faced with my site in last month. Now I think we have to wait for next PR update.

More then likely like all have said, its a temporary situation, I dropped from a very competitive term at the #1 spot to like # 33 the other day but now I am back stronger then ever so...

My bet is on temporary as well.

If it last for more than a couple weeks, then I'd start being concerned. Until then, try not to worry about it.

Easier said then done, I know. :)

I think Google is getting stricter...
A year ago I had a crap site that got a PR 4.. Its now PR3... I dont use it for anything but putting some links up on it.. zero content... and its remained at PR3?
