You should check that your site has no broken links and not connected to untrusted or spam sites.

First things first... for how long did you have PR3?
I mean, many young sites were caught in the middle of the PR update and given higher than usual PR. Not sure if this is your case but if so, then the PR was gone as fast as it came.
If your PR was raised gradually then I need to agree with the above answer. Check your links and the sites you have backlinks from, maybe they also lost their PR lately and this is affecting you.
    Cheers!

    Guys,

Here's the response from Google. I've included the domain in there as well. The search term was cpanel hosting. Domain registered for 12 years, Host NIT bought the company over and just changed the layout of the site.

Dear site owner or webmaster of http://cpanelhosting.com/,
We received a request from a site owner to reconsider http://cpanelhosting.com/ for compliance with Google's Webmaster Guidelines.
We reviewed your site and found no manual actions by the webspam team that might affect your site's ranking in Google. There's no need to file a reconsideration request for your site, because any ranking issues you may be experiencing are not related to a manual action taken by the webspam team.
Of course, there may be other issues with your site that affect your site's ranking. Google's computers determine the order of our search results using a series of formulas known as algorithms. We make hundreds of changes to our search algorithms each year, and we employ more than 200 different signals when ranking pages. As our algorithms change and as the web (including your site) changes, some fluctuation in ranking can happen as we make updates to present the best results to our users.
If you've experienced a change in ranking which you suspect may be more than a simple algorithm change, there are other things you may want to investigate as possible causes, such as a major change to your site's content, content management system, or server architecture. For example, a site may not rank well if your server stops serving pages to Googlebot, or if you've changed the URLs for a large portion of your site's pages. This article has a list of other potential reasons your site may not be doing well in search.
If you're still unable to resolve your issue, please see our Webmaster Help Forums for support.
    Sincerely,
    Google Search Quality Team

    Any advice, still?

RISHIP first of all with out specific URL its very tough to advice you stuff. If you goes down to PR n/a than it means Google manual teams noticed that you are by some means trying to manipulate Pagerank.
sit and think Did you make any such mistake?
Are you using a single SEO technique for linkbuilding?
Do you have unique content or duplicate content/pages on your site?
Do your content provide users value? Are they satisified with it?
What your link profiles tell you?use backlinks watch and Open site explorer to check out link profile. If there is any very low quality or doubtful URL's use disavow tool.
One thing more I do not think that you expect email from Google about it.

I know that google changed the value of EMD, that might have an impact on your rankings within the search engines, but I cant understand what would make your pagerank drop.

EMD = Exact Match Domain. Before your site would have ranked very very well for cpanel hosting as the search words were in the domain name. But after changes to Exact Match Domain, now other hosting sites (that dont have those keywords in their domain name) will rank above your site.

We have thousands of sites linking to us, lots of affiliates, We're even partnered up with Dell and STI.. so it still should be on top.
Plus i know they still count domain age as a factor .. the domain is 12 years old...and its registered for another 2....

Maybe you're right, I suppose. That's the only explanation that i came across that made sense.

Not sure it is the EMD update, your anchor text variation doesn't look that bad. Your 2 most powerful backlinks redirect back to your site though! Didn't check any others.

    Your pagerank is 3.

And yes Google changed some rules regarding EMD how ever this should not have a huge impact. It is more against the spammy website with no authority at all.

"New exact-match domain (EMD) algo affects 0.6% of English-US queries to a noticeable degree. Unrelated to Panda/Penguin."

"Minor weather report: small upcoming Google algo change will reduce low-quality "exact-match" domains in search results."

If you do not know Matt Cutts, he is the head of Google Webspam team.

Your problem is something else (if there is a problem at all), you already did what they suggested in the message they have send you? And how much time between drop back and now?
