    There is no Google API to retrieve pagerank, but it is possible to emulate the google toolbar and request it from the google server. You need to execute a hashing function on the url you want to retrieve pagerank for an pass it on as a parameter when you request the pagerank from google.

    It doesn't use the API, there is no current API function for Pagerank. Also, I'm not sure why anybody would want a Pagerank checking script because Pagerank is dead.
