There is no Google API to retrieve pagerank, but it is possible to emulate the google toolbar and request it from the google server. You need to execute a hashing function on the url you want to retrieve pagerank for an pass it on as a parameter when you request the pagerank from google.
Some of you people will try to sell anything here on DigitalPoint For anybody interested, here's the original free script... http://v1.magicbeandip.com/mbd-file/PageRankReport.php It doesn't use the API, there is no current API function for Pagerank. Also, I'm not sure why anybody would want a Pagerank checking script because Pagerank is dead.
Hi guys, what is API?Are you talking about some tool which can check pagerank?I am interested to get some free script to creat a blog that can check pagerank.By the way,any of you have such a script?
hi, you can check page rank here for free http://www.coolseller.co.uk/tools/google-pagerank.php cheers
PageRank is dead? Sounds like an interesting thread. Please explain. I thought PR was core to Google.
Many believe that the PR of a site makes no difference in the SERP. We are running experiments on this kind of claims on our research site at http://labs.devenia.com/ to document what are the facts. This is one of the factors we intend to do experiments on.
Here is a great java aplication, which I tested and it works fine: http://www.temesoft.com/google-pagerank-api.jsp
Interesting that you are doing that. I have read that meta keywords no longer count with Google. However, my own 'experiments' confirm that they are still very important.
i don't know about pagerank api. But i have a website, where you can chk the multiple website page rank. pageranksource.com/pr/multiple-pagerank-checker.php
