Page Rank and Backlinks

I want to purchase backlinks to my site. A higher pagerank backlink costs more than lower pagerank pages. My question is this "Are more links from lower PR pages better that fewer links from higher pages?" eg. is 5 links from PR1 pages better than 1 link from PR5 page?

Higher page rank are a lot more effective and powerful than numerous lower page ranked pages. Go with 1 page rank 5 instead of the 5 page rank 1 pages.

Thank you for quick reply. I wait to see more responses on this before purchasing links. I am about to use textlinkads service. Anyone used it before?

Purchasing links is a black-hat technique and it will get you penalized in google if you get caught. The benefits of purchasing links are very small because the sites that sell links tend to be low-quality sites themselves. Because it's a black-hat technique, no legitimate, well-established site would sell links because the risks of losing rankings are so high.

You're digging your site an early grave if you go down this road.

Purchasing links can work but be very careful about the quantity over a set time period and the relevancy of the links. As cazort said, a lot of the sites selling links tend to lack quality. If they aren't viewed poorly by Google right now, the future could have them going down a very bumpy one-way dead-end road.

Don't view buying backlinks as some "easy way" to get recognition from Google. It can work if you do it "right", but it takes a lot of effort to find truly good sites that will give you long-term value from your purchase. Never rely solely on purchases and be very careful about where you buy them from, both to get value for your dollar and to avoid having Google toss you off their search results.

Funny thing is that most people offering the high PR links aren't really giving them to you. They are using the homepage PR instead. I suggest learning how to do it yourself, manual is the best way. I'll let people spend all day getting thousands of N/A backlinks that are overly saturated on the pages while I will spend 2-3 minutes and get a PR6 backlink.

The first thing i wan to tell you that purchasing links from high page ranks are illegal and second thing is..if you want to purchase then the go for the pages where there are less obls .. less obls means more link juice to your site

Pagerank directly depends on collection of backlinks. If you have more backlinks, then it gives more beneficial to your site.

You are absolutely right its a much better to buy a fewer high quality links compression to buy so many low quality links. One high PR links will provide you the boost in your traffic.

It is better to do manual link building than purchasing the links because Google might penalize you for that.

Always stay with the quality and don't run behind quantity. Google prefer quality links instead of thousand of casual links.

Another point is that a lot of times the PR promoted is that of the main domain and not the inner page where your link will be (which may be not ranked at all)
    Check that point out
