And that Noob is me, hi. Just learning the ins and outs right now.

My question is, the Landing Page Quality Score- is that determined by an algorthim or do Google have real people look over the page and have them determine it?

    Thanks in Advance.

Is hard to say as this is an internal information.

I think that the page is analyzed by the robot and if the it detect a possible slapped page (data collection, ebook sellers, etc), it is confirmed by a real person (like submitted ads approval)

That is very interesting theory and I think I agree with it. Might be worth a case study ;) Thanks for the idea.

whow..i want to see some poor soul employed at G manually checking landing pages..for 100s and 100s of Adgroups with thousands of keywords ..for ONE campaign and person alone :)

There are some simple rules to follow...of course relevancy to keywords, good navigation structure of site (good customer experience) so the customer can purchase a product in very few clicks.

Then LP quality score is also determined wheter a page has proper "contact us", "terms of service" and "privacy policy".

Let's say it that way: If a site is relevant to a keyword, say, it shows a certain product, has nice navigation and "buy" buttons as well as the obligatory "privacy policy" and "contact us" links it would be HARD to get anything else than a great QS, really.
